Driveway Scraper

I'm looking at a driveway scraper, either a Woods grading scraper or an Agritek Driveway Scraper. I already have a heavy duty grader blade and a very heavy duty box blade, but they tend to be a little too aggressive. My only issue with the Woods scraper is that I'll be breaking the rippers off on all the rocks I have. Anyone ever used the Agritek?

Never used agritek... I just have a very heavy scrape blade, I welded drag pads basically flat plate steel to the back... Then if I don't want a big bite on the blade, I just adjust the top link out a bit. But those look like they would work fine, on the woods are the rippers removable?

Have you thought about a hydraulic top link for the box blade you already own?

I find by varying the top link adjustment I can be more or less aggressive with the amount of "bite" the box blade takes.

Just adjust them high or as most do insert upside down so they have zero contact or even remove and let them sit in the shed till you need them.

I have a Woods landplane, no rippers on it; works real well.

Friend of mine can't run a complicated attachment to save his behind. So he bought one for his driveway. Now he looks like a pro.

I've tried running the box blade without ripper, it will still take off gravel down to the dirt. It has a floating tailgate so it makes a nice. Both of my tractors are Ford 5610s, if I hang anything up it just gets broken off . I usually just use my grader blade and offset it to pull in gravel from the sides then I reverse it to spread the gravel back out. It works well but it takes a while with how many passes I have to do.
