Drill out to Cat 1?

/ Drill out to Cat 1? #21
Your box brackets are a heck of a lot beefier then my chineseium box, but the brackets are beefier then they look.
All you're doing is holding the box up, you're not putting any extra strain on it to worry about it. Mine has room for forks on the bottom and a hitch slot so I can even tow my WAY over loaded 4x8 trailer and my empty 19' flatbed trailer and doesn't have issues.

The draw back for me was the short pins. I had to use short bolts to hold the bushings on as it was a pain in the butt to line up the QA to the pins as the clips were in the way and just too close to the QA fingers and would crush one side or knock it off.

Be aware too that the top link pin MAY not be QA useable, on my cheap one the top bracket is just too short for the QA hook to get between the pin and the box. They do have a bracket you can get but what ever. If I wasn't so lazy I would just re weld everything.

The other thing I found was the lower brackets are mounted too high. Digging out my ditch's I didn't realize the brackets were higher then I thought and doesn't raise as high as my cutter I used to use as a counter weight. Grounding out the box broke the clip on one side and slid off and bent the other bracket. Was able to bend the bracket back but there you go.

Or use the Cat0 and add a bushing to fit Cat1. Don't have the size, but if you can't find one, start looking at different sizes of pipe. It doesn't have to be a press fit, just take up some space! Bronze or Oilkite (greased bronze) is available at places that sell bushings.

You may be thinking of OIL-LIGHT Or LITE. Sintered Bronze impregnated with oil. Just use a stack of Washers!!!.
