It's better when you own your own machine shop as I do. I deal with Production Tool and Supply, KBC Tools www.kbctools.com and www.productiontool.com in Detroit, Michigan, MSC, and Enco which is the discount division of MSC. Enco doesn't have the large selection that the other 2 have and you will wait a few days for delivery, but their prices are quite low. Their website is: www.usenco.com. If we are in process on a job and I need some specialized tooling, I use Production Tool. I can pick it up the same day and they carry a lot of odd ball items. However, their prices are quite high. For the hobbyist or homeowner, Enco or Grizzly www.grizzly.com are the answer for inexpensive cutting tools or machinery. Just be aware that the quality is usually Chinese, not American unless stated.
