Draw bar

I have just started using my draw bar to move trailers. The bar works well, but is there a device that prevents the bar from rotating? I am using a quick-hitch from HF so the device needs to work with that also.

Don't have one myself, but there's one here: Top Links, Draw Bars, Draw Bar Locks, Lift Arms, Draw Bar Kits, Stabilizer Kits, Swinging Draw Bar Kits, Stabilizer Bars - SSB Tractor Scroll down a little. Looks pretty easy to fabricate.

Don't think it will work directly with the quick hitch. but with a slight modification I think I can make it work.

I don't use a quick hitch. I do use Pat's Quick Hitch:

The ExMover is great - heavy duty and allows you to use any 2" x 2" bar and hitch combo. Great for moving the travel triler around. I can take out that bar and put the one with a small ball on it for a utility trailer, etc.

Pat's is not a complete answer. But, it helps a lot. On and off the tractor once, instead of several times. Generally I am pleased with it, but do question the angles involved.

Using the above combo allows me to pick up and use nearly anything - easily.
