Thanks for the measurements and the input!

I feel dumb, but didn't realize I could just go to TSC and buy a generic one....thought it needed to be specific for the machine.

As long as the height and width fit in the tractor it can be any length. TSC has different sizes. (at least the one near me does)

I use my drawbar for: a) attachment point for chain or rope to drag, tug or haul b) to attach and pull my four wheel farm wagon My new tractor came with the drawbar when I bought it in 2009. Didn't think much about it - its hanging on the wall in the tool shed. A couple years ago somebody else posted about needing a drawbar. I went to the Kubota parts site and WHOLLY SNOT - the matching part(drawbar) was $87 and that did not include shipping. I'm almost 100% certain I could have my friend, at the local metal working shop, fab one for less than that - it wouldn't be painted Kubota grey though.

Much more prudent to be pulling any undetermined load from below the axle...

I use my drawbar frequently...moving utility trailer, boats, and big trailer around. Really useful when I'm picking up bales...from the bailer to the trailer to the barn. I recommend getting one. Check out craigslist, eBay, local farm supply store. Get 1 7/8" and 2" balls for it.

Suggestion:
Just change all 1-7/8" trailer couplers over to 2" couplers.
Makes life simpler!
