Draw Bar for 855

Does anyone happen to know if the Tractor Supply generic draw bar (under the tractor, not between the 3 point arms) will fit a JD 855?

Measure the height and width of the drawbar bracket slot. Also measure the hole diameter for the pin that locks the draw bar in place.
With those measurements, you can determine if that TSC draw bar will work.
I would want the slot dimensions to be about .06-.09 inches (1/16th to 3/32nds) larger then the draw bar.

I bought a generic draw bar at the local farm supply store for my 955. It fit just fine, but I did have to drill a new hole in the right place for the mounting pin.

I bought the one at TS for my 855 but ended up bringing it back because I felt it fitted too loosely.
A friend machinist had some scrap 1x3 bars so I used that and welded a trailer hitch receiver on top and chain hooks.

I bought the TSC one too , Yeah its a little loose and you will have to redrill the pin hole.

A little loose shouldn't bother a thing.

The factory one with my JD855 does move some. Not excessively, but some.

Make sure the replacement reaches ahead far enough to engage the bracket that is towards the front ahead of the pin hole bracket.

Its like a 1/4" narrower the factory one, Its not horrible. I have both factory and TSC
