The Jinma woodchippers weight 800lbs,we have put them on 20 hp tractors,you just may not get the 6" capacity.Great value for the money,we have a hard time keeping them.Also plenty of parts and replacement blades in stock

Ok, how come I've never heard of homier before. What's the catch? I mean their prices are way low even compared to places like Harbor Freight. Is their no-name stuff total junk? Is their stuff comparable to HF in quality?

Are the Farm Pro tractor implements decent?

Rickmacheske, thanks for the update. I think my Dad and I will buy the chipper together, and he's a DR man. He owns their electric wood splitter and loves it. He's lobbying hard for the DR chipper. Good to know that the Jinma is a reliable alternative, though.

Checked out the Homier site and tend to agree with Bloody_Peasant. What allows them to sell so inexpensively? Not saying cheap because I don't know what the quality is like, but yeah, makes Harbor Freight look expensive!! There must be a trade-off somewhere! Anybody have any more info of this company?

Ah yes ..... Homier .... aka "The Traveling Tool Gypies"

In addition to their internet operation they travel around with semi trucks and do sales shows periodically in different locations (you sign up on the website to notified of when you are in their area - they don't post the info online for competitive reasons)

I have the FarmPro 6" chipper myself. It's the same as the Jinma. I ordered from the website and had it freighted in to the local terminal and picked it up myself.

I think I paid around $1500 for it. It is well worth it and compares to other chippers costing 3x as much. I did have to replace one of the u-joints on the feedroller driveshaft - I cut off the old and welded on a 1/2 impact u-joint from Harbor Freight - seems to be holding up well so far.
