I have a DR brush cutter that I am trying to restore. The wires have cut and I need help figuring out the connections. IMG_0348.jpgIMG_0353.jpgIMG_0352.jpgIMG_0350.jpgIMG_0315.jpgIMG_0351.jpgIMG_0347.jpgIMG_0349.jpg

I still have a wire with no home. It is an orange wire with a connector on the end. It is shown on the pictures in my post.

How do you hot wire the brush cutter. I don稚 have a key. I checked YouTube and the only have examples of how to do it with a lawn tractor and it is different.

Thank you for your help.

Keys are standard - one of two common lawn tractor keys. If there is no little solenoid at the base of the carburetor, all you need to do is unhook the wire to the coil and jump across the solenoid (or to the starter lug with the + and momentarily touch the ground to a safe spot on the chassis to crank the engine). The coil is grounded to kill the engine. Never any power to the coil. That will tell you if it runs. Then either pick up a harness or wire it as it should be.
