Downsized

This is my new truck which I ordered first week in November, had to wait 10 weeks for it to arrive at dealers. Traded in my 2012 3500HD SRW Silverado LT. The 3500 was a good truck and I had no issues at all, hope this 2016 2500HD Denali will be a good truck too.

Nice! You have the upscale version of mine. I have a 2015 WT 4WD GMC in the duramax flavor. 50000 miles on the clock and no issues so far. Nice truck! LUTT

Ha forgot the reason I traded the 3500 HD, was because it was Torch Red, It just never grew on me because the last two trucks were White, Lol.

I have a '13 Z71 Silverado 1500 4x4 crewcab myself. It's got 30k on it and zero issues.

I'm a Ford fan lately, but a coworker and I were talking the other day, and what you got is what I told him was my favorite new truck look. I do not like the previous body style at all, we have many at work, and the headlight bulbs are a PITA to change. But the newest style GM's catch my eye, the GMC more than the chevy...

Going from a 2012 3500SRW to a 2016 2500 isnt really muck of a downsize is it?

Whats the tow ratings and payload of the two?

What engine and gears were in the old 3500srw vs the new 2500?

No not really, both have the 6.0 engine, which I really like and the GCWR is the same at 20,500.Conventional trailer weight ratings are same at 13,000.Now the Fifth Wheel/Goose neck rating are 14,000 for the Denali 2500 but 13,900 for the 3500, go figure. In the past I had all the big 3 Diesels and really like them all, didn't even consider them now because of the newer DPF's on all and the issues with them. Oh the 2016 has 4.10 gears and the 3500 had 3.73.
