Is anyone able to identify the snowblower in the attached pics?
I found it advertised on Kijiji near me.

I am interested in learning more about it.

It is 5' in width. The chutes are electric rotation using a chain. That is all I can tell so far.

Any ideas?

Looks like 2 30" blowers were joined and made a 3pt mount.

The blower operates 90 degrees different than most. I remember seeing a blower with that orientation a looong time ago. Cant recall how well it works.

You think so?
The chutes are connected in a pretty seamless way, and it you look closely the top sheet metal is a single piece and not connected. The 3ph mount could be homemade...

I can't be sure though. That is why I was interested in hearing if there is anyone here that has heard of a double chute snowblower before.

How about the style of dual stage? Does that look familiar?

Can you explain what you mean by 90 degrees different? I don't think I'm understanding you.

The twin spout caster will plug less for sure and the tractor can be run more slowly with near zero plugging.

I do no not know the manufacturer but the type has been discussed before-possibly Hesston?, as the paddle wheel impeller was a very simple way to get rid of the snow but it was a bit slower as the paddle wheel impeller was less likely to jam from plugging

The two spout snow caster is a common sight in europe in road snow clearing and also at ski resorts.

Interesting... Now I get the "90 degrees" difference. I had noticed that.

I hadn't thought about the clogging being reduced but I could see that working.

The price is right, so I am tempted to buy it. I just don't know how solid and reliable it will be over time. I am just getting into welding so I will be able to do some work on it and make it stronger if needed, but I would rather not buy something that requires lots of work. I don't have a good shop to work in, I'd have to go to my sisters place for that.

I'll look up the Hesston suggestion.
Thanks.

Re: Double Chute Snowblower??? = BobCat

That snowblower attachment was made by BOB-CAT, then also known as Wisconsin Marine. (Not to be confused with the skid-steer loader manufacturer 'Bobcat', which is an entirely different company.)

You can barely see the Bob*caT logo in the 2nd pic, on the chain cover between the two chutes. It's a decal like this:
SnoThrowr~BobCat_002.jpg

A buddy and I have a couple of the small walk-behind BOB-CAT snowthrowers. They aren't uncommon in my area, but I've never seen this tractor implement version. It does resemble two BobCat 30" commercial walk-behinds stuck together. I'd gamble the augers and impellers are the same parts between them.

Company ownership passed through several hands to become the present day BOB-CAT turf equipment manufacturer, a division of Schiller. Little is on their website, but you might try writing them for more info:

Never seen one like it, either,,
but it does look like it could handle snow without problems, do you have a pic of the back.
