DON'T FREEZE UP

I'm on my fifth winter of using a CK30 - never used any additive. The past few mornings in northeast PA were cold with Saturday being well below zero. Cycled the glow plugs three times and let everything warm up for about ten minutes - no problems. I've never used off road diesel and my local service station tells me there is additive in the regular diesel already. As long as there are no problems, I will not be adding anything. If I ever switch to off road, then maybe I'll add something.

My main concern this weekend was keeping the driver from freezing, not the fuel. My wife says if you want a cab, go get one......... I just don't have a place to keep it inside.....yet... Need to sell some stuff.

Why pay $.30 - $.50 more? That's easy.........

Nearest dealer to buy off road - approximately 25 miles round trip.
Pick up truck used to get off road diesel - MAYBE 14 mpg
Gas consumed - roughly 1.78 gallons @ $1.80 = $3.20 (watch out - it's going back up)
Not to mention my time............

So, figuring $.50 a gallon in my six gallon container - $3.00 - that would save me.........did I mention my time???

Sometimes there is more to the story. Mileage may vary depending on................
