END OF SEASON WORK DONE!!!!
Took the mower deck off, scraped & touched up the underside. Touched up the outside of the deck. New blades installed, lubed & put away. Tractor lubed, chains installed. Blower installed, lubed & ready to go. It's 60 today. Beginning tomorrow the temp drops & snow by the end of the week. It was the first time I took my own advice. It was so much easier to do without cold numb fingers.

I tried to get ahead this season, too.
Had to wait for a couple dry days in a row for the final mowing/leaf mulching, then I did what you did.
Temps in the 50-60 and sunny ever since!:D

I've got one more leaf mowing to do! Put the cab on the JD 74-112 a few days ago, it gets the snowblower as soon as I finish painting it. JD 83 420 gets the blade & 790 has the loader. All were serviced last week! ~~ grnspot110

I'm behind on my pre-winter tasks, as usual. Something always comes up and I have to alter my list, which usually means I end up not completing something as I planned. I'm hustling but time's running out....

The weather has been great, got the mower washed and waxed, cleaned the deck and waxed the upside and coated the bottom side with drain oil, and sharpened the blades. Washed and waxed the tractor and changed the oil, sure don't miss putting on tire chains since getting four wheel drive. Got it all done just in time, started snowing two days ago.

Tuesday I took a day of vacation and went motorcycle riding, started riding at 37 degrees, it got up to 70 degrees and was 54 degrees when I got home. I put on 435 miles, it was a great ride, don't know when I will get a chance to do that in November in Wisconsin again!

If that's all it took I'd gladly do it every year. I'd rather mow than blow
