The last 6 inches are always the hardest...Looks like he was chasing the tennis ball but just ran out of energy.![]()
That's what they all tell me.The last 6 inches are always the hardest...
"I don't always chase cars, but when I do, they're Hellcats."
Now that's funny..."I don't always chase cars, but when I do, they're Hellcats."
I know how you felt. I did the same with my Lab. He had cancer in his upper gums. Had it cut out but came back worse than it was. He must have run 10 miles beside the 4 wheeler the day I had to out him to sleep. Ran with his mouth wide open so he could get his breath. Been 10 years but we still miss him. Loved to run either with our bikes or with the 4 wheeler. This is our lab Sadie, that dog couldn't speak English but she understood it.
The first pic was taken right after we got her, the 2nd on the last day of her life, she was 10
She had cancer on her leg, we removed it twice, the 3rd time it worked its way up her leg and into her stomach. On her last day I took her to our farm and wore her out and then took her to the vet and put her to sleep. It was a really hard day for me, she was in great shape except for the cancer. She is now buried on our farm by my gate waiting for me to come and visit.
