One of my sweethearts when she was just a pup. Eager at everything she did and lived a life of dignity. Long gone, we never stop missing them.







Also, her litter mates. Curley, the one on the right was a docile alpha male that got his way on everything. He presumed any visitor had come to see him and if they didn't pay enough attention he would try, often successfully, to wizz on their pant leg.

When he wanted to lay on the heat or A/C vent in the house but another dog was on it, he would run to the door and bark. The other dogs would follow and he would run back and lay on the floor vent. What a dog.

This was my 13 year old dog next to my 10 month old puppy on their occasional 10 mile ride around the block. What a contrast and love them both. The wisdom of the older rescue with the spark of the newer puppy. How can you not be touched by the look of an old dog that was saved and lived a good life in a nice home.

The older dog is gone now but the spirit stays.
