That just burns me up when I hear about people treating animals that way. How could anyone do that! I'm glad Clyde has a great home now

Our Yellow Lab Sadie used to get something similar but the vet said it was due to allergies and recommended Benedryl.

I've enjoyed looking at the pics on this thread. I agree with others, I cannot stand or understand when people treat animals poorly.

Here's our boy Paxton with one of the hens he keeps watch over during the day.

Thanks dave. Yes she's been checked more than 3 times. I started feeling like my vet was getting easy money from me there for a while - $29 each test.
She was found, a while back, to have tape worm(which isn't even tested for, I brought in a worm sample) but given meds for and I've never seen the worms again. Besides since she's been about 3 months old she's been given diatomaceous earth daily which is supposed to kill all internal parisites. Wifey and I take it too - lots of health benefits.

Sharon gives our dogs diatomaceous earth too. With fox and coyote around, whip worm is here for sure according to our vet. Our youngest had a mild case of whip worm when she was a pup. She's a TDI (therapy) dog and they can't test positive for worms.

Years ago one of our adult dogs got whip worm and it took a while to nail that down. She had quite a spectacular  instance of explosive diarrhea before we got her cured. She was up on the second floor and tried her best to get downstairs to the back door.

A lot of Chewy's symptoms are probably secondary to an underlying immune deficiency or basic unidentified root issue I would bet. You could consider taking her to a holistic vet if the normal things aren't working. I know it can be frustrating.

This is Lucy with her little sister Molly. Lucy is a Golden Retreiver/Black Lab and she loves to eat.
