Runner on the trainer I used Continental Ultra Sport 28x700. Never had one go bad.

I have these weird orangey tires on my inside bikes for the trainer. I just have two rear wheels for that bike.
I'm thinking about buying a cheapo bike to use only on the trainer. I really don't like having my expensive (to me) road bike on there getting all those miles. I could use the Raleigh, but it's an antique and I'd like to preserve it too.

Runner you need to get one of the front wheel trainers. You could double
your workout.

I ride a cheap bike all the time ;-) but I have one I reserve for the rollers, I just pour sweat even with the floor fan.

The one in the pictue is a Continental Super Sport. When it shreds, I've got some budget Amazon tires I'm going to throw on there, just to see what happens. They are called Fincci or something like that. Two tires and two tubes for $30.

If I were looking for a road bike, It would be a Schwinn Continental. Just because I had one in High School

Tubular forks, sew ups, down tube shifters, Lycet seat,

But I live a mile from pavement, flats suck!
I had a Schwinn Continental with a few upgrades. Did a 250 mile trip from Truckee Ca to Mt Lassen and back to Quincy Ca with Scouts when I was 12. Wish I had it now.

I've ridden off and on over the last 57 years. Mostly road, but some off road.

Had a blast riding mountain bikes on the Rubicon trail. Have Jeep'd it, dirt bikes(4 stroke and 2 stroke), hiked, and mountain bike the trial.

I inherited my Uncles road bike some years back. It's like a time capsule from 1968. Motobecane Grand Record, All Campagnolo, Mavic Red Lab sewup rims, Brooks leather racing saddle, Cinelli drop bars, Campy fingertip shifters... He used to rebuild and upgrade bikes. I helped him work on them when I was a kid.

That Motobecane is a great bike to ride.

The first time i had sew-up tires, I rode down a small grassy hillside and one of the tires got filled with thorns, too many to patch. I replaced the tube without having to open the whole tire up. My friend showed me a neat trick, I'll explain if anyone is interested.

I had hand me downs and garage sale bikes until I was around 13/14 when my Uncle bought me a new Peugeot.
I loved that bike and still miss it, it got stolen in front of the school the next year.

I had a banana seat bike in MA, that I tried riding down the hill once, coaster brakes did not help.
Ended up with the bike hung up on a rail and me face down in the road.

I looked over the edge, about 50 feet down and saw a deer skeleton on the rocks.

This should be over in the Jokes but most of them wouldn't get it:

If you had the option to marry one of the most gorgeous curvy blonds in the world , or go mountain biking, what would you choose ?
