Do You Have A Cold Adult Beverage While Operating The Tractor?

I know some people who say they can drive "better" after having a couple.

Reminds me of an episode of the TV show "COPS" where an about-to-be-arrested driver was telling an officer how he drove BETTER after smoking a joint. "My senses are more aware" he said.

Tell that'n to the judge and see how far it gets you...........

I just read this thead all the way thru...and had to get a beer.

I usually have a cooler around but save most of them for the end of the day.
I will have a cold one after completing some task on occasion but that's it,
I am confident I would maim myself if I drank more than that so I don't.

BTW, I started drinking at the age of 12 thanks to a 16 year old cousin with a fast 64 Chevelle and his older friends. I am lucky to be alive (I once flew in that Chevelle) but I am not an alcoholic.

I have 3 soda bottles that I always have in the freezer.. about 1/3 full of water (ice), as I head out to the tractor I pull one out..fill it up with water and it stays cold for hours.

Adult beverage, hmmm.. I used to drink fairly often, but now..a glass of wine or a beer once a week or two weeks (after the work is done).. not worth it to drink and operate machinery... I could make a mistake sober, I'm sure I could really scr@w up with a drink or two in me.
I live my life, others can live theirs.

Sure; Gatorade, iced tea, sometimes iced coffee.
I don't need alcohol to drive a tractor - and I doubt that anyone else does either.

Well really I dont need anything other than diesel and oil in the tractor to drive it..... but on a really hot day, one beer with my sandwich at lunch, IMHO isnt going to be a problem ! Of course the safety police may have a field day with that statement !

BTW I would also need some antifreeze in that tractor also !

I don't think my tractor will even start unless I have a few brain grenades in me. I think this is my reward for working for the man all week. And if my mind gets fuzzy then I'll quit and start again tomorrow. I like crooked lines.

For all you guys who say you can't drink a beer or soda or whatever your choice of beverage is because it's too rough and you will spill you drink, why not just hold it while you are mowing?

When I open my drink, I just keep it in my hand and drink it until it's empty. I don't remember spilling any, or even having it be something I thought about. It's never crossed my mind to put it in my cup holder once I open it.

But there is a cupholder! (or beer or can holder) You HAVE to use it. Its a feature- it's setting there DYING to be used! Even if your not thirsty, you must take something to place in it!
Its the whole tractor theory; find a use for it, even if you don't need it!
