Do You Have A Cold Adult Beverage While Operating The Tractor?

never an adult beverage. I like a cup brimming with ice then watered down. When water runs out, the sun melts the ice and its a perfect temp of water to drink.

Sure; Gatorade, iced tea, sometimes iced coffee.
I don't need alcohol to drive a tractor - and I doubt that anyone else does either.

Personally, I find that the jostling about of the tractor bruises the delicate flavor of my preferred beverage. Too much foam is created, filling my belly with an unpleasant bloatedness . This in turn inhibits quality time, eating and drinking after the chores are done. In short no, I do not imbibe while operating the tractor. Immediately afterword yes, but never behind the wheel.

I do however, drink while texting....... Just kidding, I don't text.

I don't need it either but sure do like it. I'm the first to say alcohol can cause trouble but then again incompetance or stupidity can as well. Some folks are more awkward and dangerous sipping shirley temples than others sipping scotch. YES I do sip back some euphemism while on my tractor.

I too have been know to have a few while operating my tractor. I know my limits, and I don't get too carried away.

I like setting a cold pabst on the bumper of the truck and I mow the yard fast enough that it is still cold when I get done I win, kind of a finish line prize. I do agree with other posters that I don't need any extra help doing stupid things thus I wait till I am done and set on the patio.

Mostly FEL, grader and snow blower work. Too busy, too cold or out of my yard when I am using the tractor so no beverages.
Things I do with a beverage;
Fishing, I spill too many but overall it works out great.
Windsurfing, after a few, I get my life jacket on and go out to remember why it's not such a good idea.
Curling, it's part of the game.
Grass cutting. I have in the past. It only takes one beer to cut my lawn. SWMBO has been using the riding mower lately so I'm free to do other things, like have a second beverage.

It depends on what I'm mowing. If I'm mowing around the ponds, or in those areas that I need to pay attention, then I'll just have cold water with me. If I'm mowing my pasture and going around and around through the grass, then I'll bring my soft cooler with a six pack of Coors Light and drink about one per acre.

When it's really hot or time to do complicated stuff water is the ticket for me. That said, my lawn is a "3 beer" lawn mow job.
