Do all b7100's have diff locks?

Hey all, first post... I may be buying my first Kubota... its an 85 b7100 2wd. I asked the cust if the tractor has a diff lock (being as its only a 2wd) They are not sure. Do all these machines have a diff lock? I was under the impression that most diff locks are located on the right side floorboard, seller says there is no pedal there. After some searching on here I discovered that the pedal might be on the left side, but again, the seller is not sure (older woman). I have attached a pic of the machine is that helps.

Also, whats your opinion on the unit... they accepted an offer of 3k, 2400hrs on machine... original owner with a STACK of service records. Unit is a Hydor, comes with 48in belly mower, 48in snow blower and 4 way blade (maybe chains) I plan on using it primarily as a lawn mower and snow blower.

I edited your picture to show where the diff lock is....
Push down on this lever with your left heel while moving forward and the differential lock will engage(eventually!)

Thanks! Picked the tractor up today... diff lock works, does take a second to catch sometimes.

No it doesn't.... I wasn't aware that any had power steering?

No B-7100's had power steering from the factory although it might have had the dealer installed option. No it isn't available from Kubota today.

If you were to be interested in installing power steering, click on search at the top of the page and then type in power steering on a b7100 Then click on the go button, and it will show you sites related to it. I have a b7100HST myself and love it. I am in the process of installing a FEL, and may need to install power steering myself later. zman

On the gear b7100 you are supposed to be stopped before engaging the diff lock.. is the HST version different?

Yes, its a hydro... the lock seems to engage easier once the wheels have started to slip, works alright none the less
