Tractor
Kioti DK55 Cab, 3 NHs (from 40-90HP)
I've threatened to post pics for nearly 2 years.. i guess restoring a large farm took longer than i anticipated!

I don't know much about the disc (just posted in the attachments forum for help identifying it); it's rather large, but the tractor had absolutely no trouble pulling it (despite the AC set to "Hang Meat").

The tractor has just over 600 hours now.. here's hoping for another 600 care-free-hours.

That's greta, I especially like the row of rocks at the fields edge. The disc really seems to tear up the ground real well. Hang meat.

Very nice rock wall. It's nice not have to buy all those rocks. That was the one job nobody looked forward to each spring, picking rocks. That was all by hand and it was really back breaking. They all went on the stone bolt. Anything to big to carry or roll on to the stone bolt was left until last. Then we dug a deep hole and rolled the big ones into it. Of course after 20 to 25 years they will reappear at the surface but that would be a long time and the seed had to go in this year.
I would have given anything for rock grapples at that time.
Keep in mind that one of your most reliable crops will be rocks. In New England they grow just fine regardless of dry years, wet years or anything in between.

We have a fine crop of granite over here in the 'dacks as well. Though they "grow" well in any condition, I find they emerge best after a wet fall and a particularly cold winter. Can you say frost heave? /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif If only our southern friends knew what they were missing.

Grapples Rock! /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif I am definitely envious of that attachment, gotta get me one those. That's a fine looking setup you've got there, tractor and that re-claimed field.

Plenty of bluestone here in the Southern Tier. I can't even screw canopy anchors into the ground without cussin a lot more than I should. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif. Post hole digging is a bit of a pain too but I've always got my trusty pipe wrench on hand to unstick me.
