I had the same set-up on my Quad mounted to the rear carrier. I had half a rubber tie strap screwed on to loop over it to hold it in the scabbard. The problem was the gas tank breather was now horizontal and it leaked gas.

I have a holder on my quad also. Have had a couple of my chainsaws leak as well, both on the quad and the Kioti. The 2 saws that haven't leaked are my Husky 550XP and 562XP. I haven't checked into why the others leaked.

My Husky 353 and 562xp do not leak either.
