DK45 HST cab

Are the mirrors easy to remove? I have a DK45SC that is a couple of years old and try to remember to remove the mirrors if I am going to be working around trees and bushes.

can an older 45se hst take the new cabs? Maybe one year older or two depending on model year. I don't know if its a 2006 or 2007 tractor.

I would not be cost efective.
Kioti does not list it as an add on.

Any solid 4" oak limb will work!
They do go around in front of the windshield and helps from sticking out but 1nut will take them off

Sorry I couldn't reply faster I was away. My tractor is still at the dealer , I'm waiting for the seat to come in.. I was told it disappear between North Carolina and the dealer, it should be in this week.. Charlie

I'm very interested in the fact that the 45 HST is now offered with a cab (I've been waiting a year for it! ). Does anyone know of a place for more info / images of both the 45, and it's turbocharged sister the DK50 that I've also heard about? Particularly cab interior images, and dimensions in comparison to a JD 4520 cab with eHydro. The Deere is a nice machine, but my local Kioti dealer is FAR better than my local Deere dealer. I'll likely look further afield (no pun intended) for a different Deere dealer, but the new Kioti has me really intrigued.

Just a little heads up there is no Turbo 50 matter in fact there is no 50 right now.
The largest hp hydro cab is the DK45SE.
I will dig for some picture of the inside for you.

Better yet make a drive down to Pa and you can take all the pictures you want you can even take the tractor home with you!
I have to many of them here!

Found them I don't have any of the inside I can get them for you tomorrow.

Sweet looking cab Rick. Give me another year or so to finish with my brush clearing and getting some trees trimmed back and I'll be calling you up to trade up. I can only imagine how sweet it is to be in an A/C cab mowing in mid summer. I imagine it is a bit quieter too though I don't know that there is much soundproofing on the firewall. It would be nice to stop wearing hearing protection too.

It looks like a step up from the DK45S cab. I'd like having the seat belt positioned where I can find it rather than lost under the seat somewhere. I'm not sure I'm keen on the sharp-looking turnsignal/warning flasher knobs, though; they'd be too close to my left knee for comfort. Otherwise, a real improvement.

That knob is exactly the same as on my non cab DK40se and is no issue at all. Your knee is well out of the way when sitting and I've never hit the thing when getting on or off the tractor.

I've been impressed with how Kioti has been refining their products (just like Kubota did years ago) - each new series seems just as solidly built, but with more comfort features.

I will be checking out a cabbed unit at some point!

I'd seen press releases about the new 50, that I had understood would be a 45 with a turbo on it - any idea when it might be out?

I haven't seen anything on this yet but it occurs to me that it would be a pretty lame turbo to only get an additional 5 horsepower out of a 45hp naturally aspirated engine. Don't turbos usual boost HP by about 20-30%?

Well guy's I got my tractor last week and I've been out several times with it...Great tractor, the cab is amazing, and now I know why the seat was stolen, it's very comfortable..I tried to post pics but was unable too... I can assure you it looks as good as Wallace tractor..The auto pto is a great feature and I must mention that the heather is more than sufficient..Kioti was very helpful in helping me obtain a better interest rate from agricredit, and for that I'm very greatfull. Trade in value for my CK 30 was very good at 16000 it was sold 2 days latter.. As some of you know I use the tractor to make a living in the winter time, and the CK 30 was very reliable in the past 3 season, I would highly recommend this thought little tractor....Thanks Charlie
