Dk series HST

Any dealers or anyone else for that matter have any info on when the Dk series will be available with a hydro transmission. A Few years ago before I purchase my CK30, they told they would have them for 2006 models. Now that we are here, I have not seen or heard anything that suggest they will be available soon. Can anyone shed any light on this. I could really envision myself in a nice new dk45s HST /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

I had always heard it would be some time in 2007, but I really don't know at this point. I know there were supposed to be some larger HST units, but exactly which, I'm not sure now.

I think you will see them.... oh sometime /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif .... I don't think im suppose to tell..... /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif But I think many people will be very happy with what Kioti has coming out....

I'll spill them right now. They're coming out with a new HST tractor of higher horse power. Sorry, I couldn't hold it in any longer!

I know that there was talk of redesigning the DK35, possible HST, the 45 as well, and bringing the 90 HP model over as well, but the only date I can remember for any of it was something in 2007, but it's always been a crap shoot when it comes to new models.

I remember when they rolled out the first DK45S at a dealer meeting in Sept a couple of years ago. I don't think anyone was expecting that one as all the dealers and I stood outside the corporate office and watched it coming down the street.

Not one of us within my hearing distance could guess what it was at first. I thought it was a new 65 myself.

Then the 65S came out pretty quickly as well with basically the same new design as the 45S, another surprise to me.

They'll be out when they get out, that you can count on.

The CKs took longer than was anticipated.

I guess it's nice to have a surprise but it could mean lost sales. If I was in the market for say a 45hst, and I knew the close release date Kioti was coming out with one, I'd wait if I could. Not knowing Kioti would have such an animal, I would turn to other brands if the hst was that important.

I rather agree with you. I would likely have waited a few months for a CK30HST had I known they were going to be on the market so soon after getting my CK20HST.

I think they are reticent to announce after it took longer to get the CK20 on the market than they had planned. Making all the changes necessary, making sure everything is up to snuff, etc. can sometimes cause delays, and maybe they don't want to make promises and then not deliver. I don't know, but it sounds feasible to me.

Oh, by the way, don't buy and HST from someone else just yet, it won't be too long. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

What type of time frame are we reffering too. That TC45DA is starting to look tempting /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif I am just surprised that is has already taken this long I guess. I know they want to "make sure it done right" but I think they must have realized that their is definately a market for this and would have been a little quicker in getting them to market.

I have heard dates of this fall... but I would honestly say it will problaby be first of the year before dealers really see them... I have heard DK35 and 40 will be first and that they are going to do the 45 in HST but I'm not sure on the date of this one....

Thats what I figured. I can certainly wait, but its good to that the even if you allow for pushbacks, it would probably be about a year or so and not something like 3 more years. I can certainly wait another year, heck I still have till next october to finish paying off mine!!
