I have a DK35 and need a block heater. One of the other posts said that Daedong reads these posts....... if so please tell us where to get one. I don't mind if I need to get it from Kioti or not. Yes I keep seeing "put in a lower radiator hose heater." They just are not the same.

I purchased my second Kioti @ 1 year ago and have been very happy with both of them, along with the great service from Little Tractor

Where did you buy it and how is it installed? Gerard

Sounds like both of us are in western KY. I've been looking @ the Kioti line @ Little Tractor - thinking about a machine about like yours. How do you like it? How is Little for service?

I know you don't want to hear about radiator hose heaters, but, I have to tell you that I put one in my LK2554 and in a matter of about an hour @0deg F. It will warm up the radiator and engine block so that they are warm to the touch and it will hold them there for as long as you want.

Thanks for the photo. Makes it a whole lot easier to see the application. Gerard

You are correct....they aren't the same. A lower rad hose heater will heat everything much more evenly, alot larger area and they don't take that long to install. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Does anyone know the diameter of an LK3054XS lower radiator hose? I know, I know, just go out and measure it myself. I just thought I'd ask. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I had to heat my tractor one day this winter by putting a tarp over the engine compartment and putting a 300 watt quartz work light under there. After four hours, the engine was warm enough to start, although it sure wasn't happy about it. Air temps were around zero.

I won't face another winter without an installed engine heater and a lower radiator hose one looks like just the right answer.
