Does anyone know if there are any links showing/explaining how to build a tooth bar?

By the time you buy the teeth, hardened bar, welding rods and bar stock for mounting, I will bet that you can buy one for less money.

Remember a FEL is a Front End Loader. Not a shoveler. Determine if you need to move rock or or move shallow tree/brush roots.
For the latter I highly recommend a Piranha Tooth Bar which they build to the length you need.

I should have been more specific. I was looking to DIY a Piranha tooth bar. I actually found a link after digging a little more. If interested, here is the link.

I built my own using purchased teeth and holders and recall my basic outlay was about $100. or so.

My friend built a set using truck leaf springs for his teeth having the spring shop chop into toothlike forms for him.
He used spring stock for its hardness. He probably has 600 hrs of digging in rocky soil on them.
