I don't think anyone will know the answer as to how much oil came out. Best thing to do, is to find the dipstick, put it in the engine again and check the oil.

Hahaha, by your title, I thought maybe this was a political post.

I am typically extra cautious, so I would probably do a complete oil change in case debris got in. Better safe than sorry.

Totally agree on your oil change idea. Better safe than sorry.

Why are we changing the oil. Find or buy the dipstick and check it then. Isn't that the point of a dipstick, to know how much oil is in the engine? It is not like you are going to run it until one has been installed anyways. After you have a dipstick and checked oil, add oil if low. It as simple as that.

2.25 qts. just kidding.

I'm not sure I would change the oil unless it was close to the recommended oil change interval.

Buy another dipstick, check level, and add oil as needed.

Spurting oil out of the dipstick tube sounds more like a blowby issue (rings or breather) to me. Where is the engine dipstick located that it could be yanked by brush? Is the turbo overpressuring? Fuel pump seals? What does the oil look, smell, and feel like? Is there fuel in the crankcase? Any oil analysis for comps?

I'd check to make sure the mechanicals are ok before just assuming it was a pulled dipstick ... unless you know the dipstick was pulled by something/someone, in which case you should be able to find it pretty easy as you'll know where you ran over the bushes, or where you checked the oil last.

Depending upon the dipstick location , height, angle, straight, curved, etc. the crankshaft could easily sling oil out the dipstick tube.

We can't do that because it makes too much sense. We are not living in the age of doing things that make sense anymore. Those days are long gone.
