One of the best single line statements I've ever heard (or read rather). Mind if I use that sometime?

If it speaks to you, feel free. It's not something artistic I created, just some common sense...

physics is rarely up for debate anyway. every year that passes we find out something new that defies old laws.. was reading the discover mag a few months ago.. and they found out some metals behave differently than 'normally expected' under mega extreme heat and pressure... go figure. 1 yr ago that would have defied physics..

And was that "mega extreme pressure" the earlier poster trying to put 3500 lbs in his truck because the brochure said so? :laughing: I haven't seen too many Journal of Modern Physics articles talking about new physics discoveries in the field of truck suspensions and frames...

doesn't have to.. just disputing the statement that physics (as we know it ) was indisputable. the problem is the 'as we know it' part.

That is where mine was peeling off also. It started within months of me getting it new.

As for the metal thickness the GM stuff comes no where near the thickness of the Fords I have now. The doors are way thinner and lighter. This is very evident in the front fender area also when you lift the hood. It just seems cheap and unfinished compared to them.

That was my experience with my GM was well.

As to the warranty - I tried seveal dealers and gave up. I sold the thing.

I loved the interior and the way it drove, but decided it was too expensive - and it didn't look like it would be cheap later with problems liek that.
