Oil & Fuel Diesel Fuel Additive

Has anyone used or familiar with Stanadyne Diesel Fuel Additive? They seem to tout themselves as the best against their competition. I am told this ultra low sulfur diesel that is quickly becoming the only option absolutely needs to be treated in all weather conditions. Other product experiences and or recommendations?

*I dump a quart of Power service in each 55 gallon drum.

I used to use it in my Ford F350 diesel and it worked great. hjt

I use Stanadyne in my L3940 per the recommendation of my dealer. So far so good. No problems. And I burn ULSD.
There are lots of additives available and I guess you just need to find the one that makes you comfortable. If I have any issues down the road I can at least go back to my dealer and say "Hey, you guys recommended this Stanadyne stuff so work with me here".

I use Stanadyne Performance Formula in the fuel for my BX24. I've used it for years in my Dodge Cummins turbodiesel. I bought it in 5 gallon cans from a local shop here in central MA. Good stuff.

I found that it left me on the side of the road when the temps dropped to -10F from +35. I was running a 2x lable amount too.

I now use Howes Diesel Treat a product from Canada. They might know a bit about snow and it is used by truckers all over. I also put in 1 oz of 2 cycle oil per gal of diesel for lubricity. If you can get B2, that is better. Most of the lubricity improvers have been tested to be not as good as 1 oz of 2 cycle.
