Got an email that mine has shipped but tracking number isn't in system yet. I think they say it has shipped from their shipping dept. but the USPO hasn't picked it up yet? Says 3 day delivery which I find hard to believe coming from CA.

Last order I had shipped via USPS Arrived in two days from Texas ...do believe or at least Hopeing this works
Wire diagram looks right , voltage + 12 and ground on the right pins ...data stream listed in manual as J1939 . Standard diesel ecu format......should work will know by this weekend.....

Just checked my tracking number. Says it left CA yesterday and was rec'd by local PO and is out for delivery? They must have flew it out. Should get it today, if not tomorrow.
Keep me updated on your findings , going to try it with with a hd truck with DPF function scanner / A mac tools standard OBD2 scanner ... and a Bluetooth scanner that's I have seen used on a Mahindra tractors

My cable was just delivered. (Mail comes late in the day here) I'll check it out tomorrow with my scanner and let you know.
It boggles my mind that it came from CA in one day. Usually takes a week to get stuff from the west coast.

Well, I plugged in the connector this morning and tried to read on both my scanners. Neither one could connect. My Maxicheck Pro stepped thru many protocols but I never saw J1939 come up. Looks like I'll need to buy another scanner that can read J1939 data stream. Let me know if you get yours to read / connect.
Can confirm it will read/clear DTC , only works with HD OBD ... i created faults read live , read codes and reset codes than read and cleared history this part works great ...a basic HD OBD with a DTC library is all you need , mine READER includes HD DPF, HD SERVICE and standard OBD/EOBD These functions are not available on this tractor. My other scanners would,n't connect,

Thanks for the info. Is read and reset codes all your scanner will do?

The regen function only available on certain manufacturers set-ups, (2010 or later) LS engine's are not in the list .. so I didn't actually try other than to select and see what manufacturers were listed.... I have used this feature to force regen when my truck wouldn't go into regen when setting...thats all I have used it for .. there are other options. I just haven't needed them at this point... and as far as I KNOW this tractor doesn't have an oil service reset , so with the iis young scanner I have only used the HD OBD (truck engine ) there are other options under truck I haven't tried like ,transmission , Cab and maybe 3 or 4 more

I basically wanted the ability to read and clear codes ...this adapter allows me to do that ..so I'm fairly sure a basic HD OBD (J1939) will read and reset engine diagnostic codes ...My scanner did list a number of formats , I choose J1939 ...that's what was listed in the LS Service manual. ....this is the only scanner I have at this time that has the HD OBD function , neither my Mac Tools or two other OBD/ Eobd off brand scanners would connect hope this helps

Thanks again, I haven't had a need to read or reset any codes yet. I was more interested if it could read live data, instrument panel info, engine info, regen cycles or any other info similar to the factory dealer scanner.
Since LS wasn't on the list where other tractors on the list such as Case, Shibaura, Massey Ferguson 1700 series, New Holland Boomer tractors since a lot of them have the same engine.
I don't need a programmer nor do I want to change any parameters but it would be nice to see.
My Autel scanner automatically went thru a bunch of protocols trying to connect but J1939 wasn't one of them. my older Actron scanner also didn't connect but didn't show me any protocols it tried.

Basically as long as it is an HD-OBD scanner and has a cable that fits the obd2 plug on the adapter I would think it would work ...did notice that the company we ordered the adapter from will make custom adapters...
...one more point. this should work on any equipment having the catobd2 Deutsch 9pin unkeyed plug (UNKEYED being the KEY word )New Holland, cat industrial and such ....(most HD Truck.. ....scanners will come with muti plugs mine has obd2 /a/ keyed 9pin Deutsch and a 6pin Deutsch) AND now with the adapter a UNKEYED 9pin Deutsch

The scanner manual list Maxxforce , Detroit , comins , Isuzu ,Hino and more to update.....

Well, I'll just have to wait and see if the aftermarket can come up with a reasonably priced scanner for Ag tractors (incl CUT's) that will do more than read and reset.
Not going to pay a few $$ for another scanner that's only able to read and reset. Not going to pay thousands of $$$ at this point for a scanner that has Ag tractor programs. That's the problem with tractor mfg today, they have there own proprietary programs. Even if I had an inkling to spend $$$, none of the ones I see list LS or any CUT's that might have Shibaura engines.
For $46 it was worth a shot. At least I have the adapter now.
