Diagnosing Tractor Bad Sound

Finally got some time to investigate the bad sounds problem.

Turns out, I have some broken welds on a structural bracket which holds my Right FEL mount. (Thankfully the bad sound is NOT inside the transmission!!)

I will have to remove the FEL and FEL mount as well as a bunch of backhoe subframe stuff to get to the broken bracket. Then I'll repair it and re-install.

Thanks again to all!

Just a follow up to this.

I repaired the FEL mount bracket and reassembled. My bad sounds have disappeared. The bumping of the broken mount was what I was feeling in my seat when operating.

Thanks again to all!
