I've heard a lot of good things about the Dexters. I was hoping someone had first hand experience.

I would love to get into cattle. Bad part is, @60 yrs old and know nothing about them is tough.

All the old guys in my area say you can't make any money off cattle. They say by the time you buy hay, or buy all the equipment to do your own hay, medications, etc,. there's no money in it.

Most of them tell me that everything they make off their cows goes right back into the farm, Fertilizing the ground, spraying the hay fields, and medicating the cows

When I ask why they do it, they tell me ''I don't hunt, I don't fish, I don't play golf, etc,. cows are my hobby cause I have fooled with them all my life. They only cost me my time.
