Congratulations. Very nice choice. Can I ask what dealer you purchased it from?

Jennings in Puyallup WA. Went with them mainly as there are 3 other Kubota owners (commercial users) I'm friends with here on the Island and all of them recommended Jennings hands down. Doing my pre-purchase research, I found out that while the brand you buy is important, the dealership you buy from and will rely on for support is more important. Also, they know how to play the game with Washington State Ferries for transportation.... So far, they have another very satisfied customer :)

Where in the heck are the rear valve stems?

Probably on the inside of the rim to help protect them a little more.

Surprised they didn't do that to the front rims.

I like that tractor. Good luck with your purchase.

BH92 - The price is around $8250.00 for the backhoe and another $1200.00 for the subframe (the mechanical thumb is around another $1100.00). One thing to keep in mind is that the "actual" prices are going to vary greatly between geographic locations (cost of living etc...). I have no idea what a local dealer would charge to install it on a tractor that's not coming through the dealership as a new purchase add-on. If I lived somewhere other than the Island I live on, I would not have purchased it and rented an excavator when needed if it was a realistic option. Sadly, being on an Island, renting an excavator will never be cost effective :(

That is one whopper of a backhoe. I've seen one in action and you will not be disappointed. You can even get a trenching bucket, without teeth, for it so it will make smooth cuts in the bottoms of culverts or swales. Congratulations on that whole setup.

I had not noticed until you pointed it out :) I'll ask the dealer why they were turned in, maybe something to do with the beet juice being pumped into the tires?

Yeah.....but I'll bet the inconvenience is well worth it.
Vashon is such a beautiful place!
Almost bought a waterfront house there, back in the very early 70's, but NWA company transfer was cancelled.

I grew up here on the island and joined the Navy at 17 to get off this boring hunk of rock in Puget Sound. 21 years later after seeing the world a few times over, Vashon was the perfect place for me to retire to :)
