Deleted member?

I was reading the "don't buy anything" thread and a member who called himself zarkhillbilly (or something similar) is now "Deleted member 371759". Under that it says "Guest". Does this mean this member deleted themself? Or were they deleted by the management? Just curious since I had never seen this before.

Can't answer for here but that would happen on forums I used to run anytime a member demanded to deleted.
