I'm no fan of fumes either but my experience has been the opposite. The fumes from newer tractors give me a headache. No idea why.
You should stand near my 91 f800. It will make your eyes water.

I drove one for years. Most of them have the Cummins 6BT, same engine that's in my Dodge pickup, although I think the 91 would have probably had a Bosch rotary injection pump like the first gen Dodges. No engine, of any era, makes fumes that are good for you to breathe, but some seem to be a lot worse than others. For whatever reason, the newer generation engines with EGR's, DEF systems etc. just smell a lot worse. Says nothing about long term I suppose, but short term, I'll take a '91 F800 over a '21 Kubota tractor, given the choice.

Pretty sure it was ford engine. Haven't looked in years. We used the pto to run a drill to bore under roads. Took about 4 plus hours per bore. It also had a crane, so no stacks. We ended up buying really long hoses to get way from it.

I agree. From my understanding with hybrids, they come in 4 types. Here's a good explanation of them. Different types of hybrids

My wife has been looking at a Toyota Venza or Highlander hybrid.
When our '18 Outback is worn out, we'll go back to pure Toyota and get a Rav4 Prime. (Subaru is 20% owned by Toyota).

We currently own a Tundra and Matrix(college kid's car). Over the years we've had 2 Camrys (one hybrid our oldest still drives), a Prius, a Prius Prime, 2 Siennas. We never had a lick of trouble with any of them and no issues with the hybrids. Daughter has a new Camry hybrid, mom has a Prius and a Camry (folks switched to Toyota after seeing ours, they used to drive Hondas).

A RAV4 Prime can go something like 40 miles on a charge, but still has enough of a gas tank for about 600 miles of range.
