Hello, Longtime reader first time poster.

I was brushing and had a stick go through my grille. So i devised this retro grille guard to resemble an AR deere Radiator.
It sure catches a lot of attention, especially from Two Cylinder fanatics.

That's nice. What did you use for lettering?

To make the lettering was quite the process. First I took a picture of the front end of my dads old AR John Deere. Then after some photo shop touch ups, imported into Autocad Fusion 360. Then traced it out, compiled a CNC file then cut it out with a plasma table.

The letters are 1/4" mild steel, the frame is 1/4" mild steel, and the radiator portion is 3/16" thick X 1/8" hole punch plate.

I find it funny the 3038e and the AR have comparable horsepower, but the AR was a legit farming tractor, the 3038e is a glorified hot rod lawnmower.

The 3038e has some serious ballasting conundrums. The front end is horribly light. I also built the weighted front bumper for this unit. The grille in conjunction the bumper weight is about 90lbs. really makes the tractor much more stable.

Ya'know, seeing as you have the letter pattern and the obvious skill, JD owners (like me) would pay good money for one of your creations.

Thank you for the interest.

I am into the idea of making a few more of them or other custom tractor related items.
But I have never shipped anything this heavy stateside or to the land down under yet.

Currently this project only fits the 3025e, 3032e, and 3038e.

It would take some lead time for the prototypes for other models. I am just one dude with an unheated garage in Canada, FMAO (freezing my *** off).

I am also working on some custom Brackets currently to secure a LED light bar to the factory canopy properly, I will post in another thread once finished.
I know what "e" means now for Deere "extra work", you have to fabricate all options custom for them.
