Deere 316K doesn't move!

Been rebuilding a 316 Deere with Kohler engine. Anyway, got it all back together today and started the "new" engine up. Ran fine, but no forward/reverse. The deck lift cylinder works, so the hydraulic pump seems to be working, but it doesn't want to move.

I bought this as a non-runner, so don't know it's history. It's been sitting for about 6-8 months while the engine was rebuilt.

I had drained and refilled the trans system - shows fluid in the sight glass. It has the disconnect knob to allow the tractor to be pushed - I rotated the knob to "manual push" and "normal" - no effect.

Suggestions on how to troubleshoot this?

I figured it out. The check valves were stuck in the cutout position. Soaked them and used a thin punch to work the shafts loose.
