Deere 110 tlb surging

My Deere 110 tlb has started surging. After some research, I thought for sure once I replaced the sensor lva17409 the surging would be fixed. But it's not fixed. If I leave the sensor unplugged, the surging goes away. Do I assume I bought a bad sensor and buy another? Or can I just leave the sensor unplugged? Would that hurt anything?

I have NOT replaced the LVA11935 sensor. Thanks for the info. I'll order one tomorrow and see what happens. (PS I have a lot of fond memories of New Zealand. Been to Nelson 7 times)

The surging is the travel motion, not the engine.

I finally replaced the sensor LVA11935 after being on vacation, and it fixed my surging!!! I want to thank you very much for your suggestion. I used my TLB yesterday and it worked flawlessly. Thanks again.
