Deck parts

   / Deck parts #11
I know JD makes different levels of tractors at different price points. I think bearings and such are a bit different.

I dont see SKF or Timken lowering their quality for their own label.

I perhaps see them lowering quality to reach a certain price point if thats what a BIG customer wants, like deere or GM, but they are not putting their name on it, rather Deere, or GM.

And I don see them magically making a better bearing just because deere or GM request it. I believe that if I buy a SKF, or NTN, or Timken (etc), that I am getting the best they offer.

Places like JD or GM are small-time in the world of bearings. Large factories and corporations go through countless roller bearings, and have thousands on hand many times. If a 6203 "john deere" bearing was really of better quality than a 6203 SKF bearing, I would certainly think these large companies (that can have machines cost $100,000+ per minute of downtime) would be using a JD bearing if it was indeed better quality.
