I spent alot of time levelling my mower deck and getting everything set. It seems though that when I raise the deck up it isn't level in the up position, as in the distance between the top of the deck and the stop plates is not the same. I did set the distance from the right side stop plate to the top of the deck to 1/8" - 3/16" or whatever the manual said via the adjustment screw behind the right rear wheel. Is this normal? Thanks

I mean the deck is level at mowing position, but not in carry position - is this normal?

Here you can see what I mean. Deck is adjusted and mower is level when dropped into a mowing or the "top" position, so it's probably not an issue, but is there a way to equalize the distance from the top of deck to the stops on each side when the deck is all the way up? One pic is right side, 1 is left side. As I said, I spent 1/2 day tweaking the deck and got that pretty nice (don't wanna do that again soon);)

Seems like getting a reply to your question is difficult...

Probably because what you are concerned about is a non issue.

As long as the deck is at a satisfactory position when in the cutting mode, what difference does 3/16 or less out of level make when in a mode that is not used for cutting?

My diagnosis: Overthink!

Don't know if there is an adjustment to make the deck level when all the way up, but my guess is that there are better uses of one's time than trying to figure that one out...:) My deck leaks down to the top position if left all the way up anyway, as I guess yours may too.

Absolutely not an issue in my mind...

Is there a stopper on each side that only allows the deck to go so high?If so,they may need adjusting.

I don't recall there being any lift height adjustment from side to side on my BX1850. If & I repeat IF I remember correctly there was a solid rod with lift arms welded on that was the main lift arm. It is possible one of these arms is at a slightly different angle than the other.
