Deck change

I have a 50 in zero turn and was wondering if the smaller 42 in deck from a 1500 series rider will interchange. I need the smaller deck to fit through gates. Thanks

I talked to a CC tech guy a couple weeks ago and asked him this same question. I had the same idea for the same reason. He said that the decks did not interchange. Personally, I doubt this very seriously. It would mean that CC has different decks for each model mower they make. If I had a smaller deck at my disposal, I'd bet I could make it work.:thumbsup:

I have since removed both decks and put them side by side. The CC tech is correct. In order to interchange them, you would have to cut the brackets off of one and weld them on the other. Too much trouble for the end result. Thanks for the reply.
