ugh! I know I'm asking too many questions, but I need to replace my oil light. Is there any easy way to remove the dash panel without tearing everything else apart in a 1401d? /w3tcompact/icons/hmm.gif
thanks again!

the light bulb should be removeable from the back. If I remember, I usually reach under the dash with the hood up and replace them.

I'm not sure, but it seems like they aren't easily accessible from the back--you mean inside the engine compartment, right? hopefully, I'm wrong--I'll check it out tonight.
thanks

Tony,
On a 1700 the bulbs are all in one little piece that unsnaps from the unit that is fastened in the dash. If I pull it out, all the bulbs are accessible.

There is a removable panel below steering wheel on back of cowling. Its above shifter. 5 phillips head screws. You can access most parts there.
