Dash lights on a BX 2360

Morning Gents...

I just bought a 2360 (haven't taken delivery yet - see my post "Time to replace the GR" under the Lawn and Garden heading). The 2360 seems to have a gas gauge and a temp guge and a digitial display that as I understand it, shows the rpm's when it;s running and the hours with the key on/not running. Are there any other warning lights (i.e. low oil pressure) on the dash anywhere? I haven't seen it with the key turned on yet so I don't know...help please? Thanks! : )

My BX is one of the 50 series, so one generation older than yours, but not a lot of changes. I am quite sure the dash is the same.

You're correct about the gas, temp and dual mode digital display. In addition, there is a set of lights up above these gauges that they call the "Check Easy Checker (TM) Lamps." :confused2:

This is a set of lights behind a dark panel that will show up arrows for blinkers/flashers, a battery symbol for electrical charge, a thing that looks like a light bulb for your glow plugs, and the symbol that's pretty common for engine oil pressure.

(The glow plug one lights up as long as you have the key turned to pre-heat, then goes off when you start it.)

I bet it's pretty darn hard to wait until Monday. You could visit the dealer and bring home the owners manual - good info in there on break in, etc., and other stuff you probably should get familiar with. Get the reading out of the way so your ready to hop on it as soon as it's delivered.
