Dash camera advice needed

I am wondering how the cameras that capture the cab do in capturing what is going on behind the vehicle through the back window as some state. I cannot see how that would work very well. I am thinking of one of the 3 camera models, front, rear and cab.

I have all 3 of my cameras mounted inside the cab looking through the glass. I have no issues with it. I have a magnetic battery pack and camera I mount on my headache rack on my loader/forks when I need that camera.

I was thinking road vehicles with cab camera being inside the vehicle showing occupants, rear camera recording vehicles on the road behind and of course, front camera view through the windshield. Rexing V5 with both rear and cab camera options is what I am looking at.
