I have a nice Lincoln 180 Mig I bought when building my 91 Jeep YJ with my son. I'm self-taught and by no means an expert...but in the right hands a good welder and his machine can fix just about anything. If this hole can be repaired...yours should be a piece of cake!

Mig won't work. It's a skilled TIG job.

Wasn't implying it was a "MIG" job...that's why I posted the video of the TIG job.
But I see how it could be taken that way...my bad.

I'm home again. I got all suited up to get under my tractor to pull the oil pan, but there is no way it's coming off without pulling the driveshaft first. I didn't get my manual yet. No time last week. Is there any way to remove the driveshaft without removing the front axle?

I'll stop and order a shop manual tomorrow. Didn't think I would need a manual to removed the oil pan. I won't be able to see anything through either drain hole with my new inspection camera because they are on the side of the pan.

Anyone know how I can get it off?

Thanks

If you go to Kubota Tractor Corporation - Parts List and enter your model number, you can find exploded parts diagrams of the whole tractor.
Here is the transmission-to-front axle one:

Looks like there are is a rollpin at each end (#130) that needs to be driven out of a sleeve (#20).

Not the same tractor.
My Kubota B7100 had roll pins and a sliding splined sleeve. Had a hard time getting it off and had to cut about 1/2 in. Of the one end to get it back on.

Driveshaft removed. I think I will still need to drop the axle down a little in order to get to two of the pan bolts under the input yoke of the front axle. A socket will not fit, even a 1/4" drive.
