Cutting 11ga. plate

Now that's interesting. Have you ever used one? I have seen them and wondered if they were of any real value or use. Now that you mention it here I am curious.
I realize they have a limited depth cut. Has anyone tried them on substantial material...such as 1/4" steel or metal roofing....perhaps rebar?

Something I have on my want list I have a metal cutting band saw for bar stock and the like but one these looks like it would work well for sheet metal. Right now a 2x4 guide and bimetal blade in my reciprocating saw does the job ok.
