Being the welder I have is light duty, I may go this route. No sentimental value, just an equivalent bush hog is 3k, not really in the budget.

Good used rotary cutters can be found for MUCH less than that. Some may need a little work but nothing like the that green rust bucket.

Good advice. Around here you are able to find something for around $1200. I have an old 5' IH which I will be selling for less than that because it needs blades and a stump jumper.

When I’m able to buy a bush hog, I think I’m gonna go with the King Kutter at Rural King. The RK branded King Kutter is on sale now at RK and can be shipped to your door. Plus you can add a slip clutch if you want, or buy a model already with the slip clutch.
