Cub Cadet Yanmar has came back out with the free loader program on most models or 0% for 60 months!!! Also a warranty of 5 yrs and free first service!!

Every time I read a review on compacttractorreviews.com, the Cub Cadet tractors do VERY POORLY. Many rate 1 out of 10. Many issues followed by poor dealer support.

I looked at a CC tractor at an estate auction last year. I read reviews on the tractor before going and it got 1 out of 10.

Iv never heard of anybody who didnt like there Yanmar built cub cadet tractor and we sell around 100 compacts a year and have very happy customers!! Its the same as the compacts John Deere has been selling for 30 years and iv never heard a complaint on Yanmar built deere ether!!

Ditto on the Yanmar partnership. I have an EX3200 with loader. Love the tractor, even after comparing to many other major brands, it seemed to compare favorably will the big boys (Deere, Kubota). I am not worried about servicing, as Titan Machinery Corporation has a dealership (publicly traded ag and construction dealer network). I was able to get an aftermarket grapple and plumb in for a line to the front for it, so really has been nothing but a positive experience in 2 years of ownership.

I love it when its pointed out the "Green People" that the new Cub Yanmars are basically John Deere's at a lower price. However, the reputation from the 5000 series and the domestic 7000 series is something I am guessing that Cub is still battling.

I do own a 1989 JD 1070 and it's been a great tractor. When I spoke of the poor reviews on CubCaet tractors I was refering to non-Yanmar tractors. The unit I looked at that auction was a gas unit and not diesel. I guess I spoke out of turn and I apologize. In going back and reading reviews on Yanmar built CC units, they rank high in customer satisfaction. To be honest, I wasn't aware of the Cub Cadet/Yanmar marriage. I hope it goes well.

I agree, the 5000 series issues really put a dent in Cub's reputation. Having said that, I love my 5234, it's been great for plowing and mowing.
Have heard nothing but great things on the new CCY's.
