Cub Cadet 7300

OK, i found a 1998 Cub Cadet 7300 w/loader, 600 hrs for $9950. Paint is fair (kept outside) and they tell me the clutch has to be let out alot before it goes. Do these have adjustable clutches or is it just gone? Mechanically otherwise in good shape.

Any thoughts on this whole deal?

If if is the same as my 7234 I'm sure it is adjustable. There is only a couple of adjustments indicated in the manual and both are fairly easy. At 600 hours I wouldn't think it would need a clutch but under hard use by someone that rode the clutch I would think it might need replacement. I would try to confirm that part of it because I understand a clutch repair is fairly expensive, tractor has to be split apart, etc. Let us know how it turns out.
