I have a cub 2165 that after cutting for a while will shut down, will not start back up for a while, Possibly after cooling off. changed fuel filter and oil filter this spring.

Try loosening the gas cap to see if it keeps running. The vent in the cap could be plugged causing the tank to build up a vacuum.

I had this happen to my 2185. It turns out that my muffler was broken which was heating up the rail where the fuel line is. The muffler was heating up the rail which was heating up the fuel line causing it to "vapor lock". Once the muffler was fixed, it solved my problem.
