Greetings All,
While awaiting delivery of my new U5030C, I read in the owner's manual that there is a creeper gear option. Not sure if I need one, dealer said low, 1st is VERY slow to begin with. Wondering if it can be added later on if I deem necessary? Mechanic by trade, something I could do?

My P7010 has a creeper gear and I have not found anything that I need to go that slow in. Basically it splits each gear (except road gear) in half or less and Low range 1st gear with creeper engaged, one could get off the tractor, have lunch and go back to the tractor before it had gone very far.
Maybe if you had a front snow blower and was trying to clear 10 foot banks of wet snow and needed the 2200 rpm engine speed, a creeper MIGHT be needed, but even then, I wouldn't think so. It is a std. feature on the P7010 but I wouldn't pay anything extra to get one if it is optional equipment.
